Battling for the Faith of our Children
Surveys show that 70% of our youth will leave their faith by the time they finish college. The two biggest reasons given for doubts about the Bible are the “Age of the Earth” and the “Creation Story.” The Denver Society of Creation is a non-profit 501 ( c ) (3) organization dedicated to promoting a clear understanding of the Doctrine of Creation, recognizing that it is the foundation for other Christian doctrine. We present the Biblical account of Creation ( creation in 6-24 hour days about 6000 years ago and a global flood) as true and we demonstrate that the Theory of Evolution is an attack on Biblical Christian teachings which causes many to reject the Christian faith.
Meeting Times and Location
The Denver Society of Creation meets monthly, the first Thursday of each month from 7-8:30. Normal Location: Mt. Zion Lutheran Church 500 Drake Street Denver, CO 80221 We occasionally meet in other locations, so please check the specific event or meeting to verify location.
